Arrive in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your hotel in the famous Copacabana neighborhood. Today is free to explore the Copacabana Beach.
This morning you’ll be picked up at your hotel first thing in the morning and head straight to Christ the Redeemer to beat the crowds. Arrive to the base of the statue where you can truly appreciate the size of one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The views from the observation platforms are spectacular and provide insight of how the city of Rio has grown around and up the seemingly inhospitable natural rock features along the coast. Return to the hotel and free time by your own.
Sugarloaf Mountain got its name from Portuguese sailors who felt the granite monolith’s resembled a traditional block of sugar. Today’s tour gives a different perspective of Rio, as you and your guide take a cable car that climbs to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. From the peak, the entire cidade maravilhosa (marvelous city), coastline, and Atlantic Ocean spread out below you. Descend by cable car and do a driving tour of Rio de Janeiro’s city center to see the famous Sambadrome, the Teatro Municipal, and the modern-styled Cathedral. Retunr to the Hotel.
This morning fly to Foz do Iguacu. Begin your tour with a visit to the panoramic Brazil side of the national park. View the impressive Devil’s Throat and 3 Musketeer Falls among others as you walk along platforms that overlook the falls! Return to your hotel and relax for the evening.
This day set out by exploring the Argentinean side of Iguazu Falls and watch the cascading water from various angles. Begin the day by boarding a small train to Devil’s Throat Station, where there’s a suspended walkway with spectacular views.
Later on we fly to Buenos Aires and transfer you to the hotel.
We pick you up to start our city tour of Buenos Aires. This tour includes a bilingual tour guide and visits to typical neighborhoods like La Boca, Palermo, Recoleta, and the Colon Theater, the National Congress, and the Presidential Palace. Dinner and Tango Show Included.
This morning we drive to the north of Buenos Aires, the 9-square-mile island city of Tigre is a region travelers should not miss to get out of the city center and explore the countryside. Your guide will point out historical buildings and sites of interest along the way. Visit the famous fruit market in which rustic weavings, cane and willow furniture, sweets, exotic flowers and, of course, numerous varieties of native fruit tempt you. A guided ferry tour of the beautiful delta ends this excursion. Sail along the delta, passing some of the uncountable channels and forest-covered islands, yacht clubs, and weekend houses in the Paraná River delta. return to the hotel.
We transfer you to Ezeiza airport for your flight departure to Lima, Peru. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
The day begins with one of the many tours in Lima: the historic city center of the famous “City of the Kings” and UNESCO World Heritage site. It is the perfect start of this Peru vacation package. You will walk about the Main Square and be awed by the incredible landmarks that have been built around it. Next, you will go to the Santo Domingo Convent, a 16 th century architectural masterpiece where the earthly remains of two of the city’s patron saints, Rose of Lima and Martin de Porres, lie. Later, you will continue on to the city’s modern sectors: the exclusive district of San Isidro, Lima’s new financial center, and Miraflores, with a stop at the “Parque del Amor” and its incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. Return to the hotel.
This morning we transfer you to Lima airport for your flight to Cusco. Andean history comes alive in Cusco. Quechua-speaking descendants of the Incas fill the streets and markets, colonial churches sit atop bases of smooth stonework laid centuries before the Conquistadors, and campesinos in colorful dress move busily back and forth across the plazas. Acclimatation the rest of the day.
Today our guide will meet you to start our visit the famous Imperial City, a cosmopolitan city and heir to a great past. The tour will begin at the Santo Domingo Convent, built over the Koricancha temple, an ancient Inca palace dedicated to the Sun God. You will return to the Plaza de Armas, visit the Cathedral and then, we continue up to the hill to visit Sacsayhuaman, an imposing sample of Inca architecture, the same one that dominates the city. Nearby, to the northeast of the city, you can visit the archaeological sites of Qenko, Puca-Pucará and Tambomachay. Return to Hotel.
Early morning, you will leave for the Urubamba Valley, also known as the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”. Picturesque place, full of tradition and surrounded by typical villages, such as Pisac, where you will make a stop to see its traditional market, the ideal time to take a souvenir of the place. Finally, you will visit Ollantaytambo, an attractive town of Inca origin, which maintains its past almost intact in its streets and cobbled walls, and soak up a little more with the local history. On the way back to Cusco we stoop at Chinchero and back to Cusco.
Early breakfast and transfer to Poroy station to aboard the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu. Arrival to the city of Aguas Calientes, from where you will start the ascent to Machu Picchu by bus. You will have a guided tour and have free time to explore the area on your own. At the agreed time, you will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will board the return train to Cusco
Free day to explore the city by your own and visit Museums and old streets.
